Youth ACT (Assertive Community Treatment)
An intensive, team-based mental health service for youth with serious mental health diagnoses or co-occurring substance use disorder who need support beyond traditional outpatient care. It provides individualized, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive treatment in the home, school, and community to help stabilize youth and prevent hospitalization or out-of-home placement. Available in 7-County Metro (Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Dakota, Washington, Scott, Carver). Covered only by MA or PMAP plans.

Collaborative Intensive Bridging Service (CIBS)
An intensive, short-term, community-based therapy service for youth ages 8–17 who are struggling to remain safely at home or in school due to behavioral or emotional challenges. Using a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach, CIBS works with the whole family to address 1–3 key concerns over a 4–6 month period, aiming to restore alignment across individual, family, and community systems.

Children’s Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS)
A group of mental health services that help youth under 21 who are struggling with emotional or behavioral challenges. Services are tailored to meet each child’s specific needs, and they can be provided at home, in school, or in the community. Covered by Medical Assistance (MA) and PMAP Plans. Private insurance plans may vary on coverage.

FRSS (Family Response and Stabilization Services)
FRSS provides immediate, in-person support within one hour for Hennepin County families with children ages 0–18 experiencing behavioral, emotional, or mental health challenges. This free service helps stabilize families in their homes and offers up to eight weeks of follow-up care to build resilience, connect to community supports, and promote long-term well-being. ONLY AVAIALABLE IN HENNEPIN COUNTY.
