Our day treatment programs support children struggling with significant emotional and behavioral challenges. Children in our programs are often at risk of losing daycare placements, struggling academically, or facing school suspensions. Many times, these youth experience conflict and/or withdrawal at home and with their peers.
Programming is three hours per day and up to five days per week. Each day features skills and therapy groups led by mental health practitioners and therapists.
Because we believe caregivers are an essential part of helping children learn and grow, children in our day treatment programs also receive family therapy while enrolled.
- Princeton’s day treatment program serves children 3-12.
Little Fern
Our Little Fern Program focuses on children ages 5 and younger. Our experienced early childhood mental health staff offer a structured and fun curriculum to help children learn healthy and appropriate ways to cope with their emotions, interact with peers, and express their needs.
IMPACT Day Treatment
Our IMPACT (Intensive Mental Health Program for Adolescent and Child Treatment) Day Treatment Program provides a safe and structured environment to support children ages 6-18 years old. Our therapists and mental health practitioners teach healthy and appropriate strategies for navigating peer and family relationships, coping with intense emotions, and managing the many transitions and changes of this stage in their life.
